Gulfstream Park plays host to the biggest day of their meet with the Pegasus World Cup. Here are breakdowns from some of the biggest races of the day.

RACE 9 PEGASUS WORLD CUP FILLY & MARE TURF

8-1-4-2

There is a ton of speed signed on here for this race. The 1,3,4,6,7,9,10 all have early foot and will be up close to keep an honest pace in which makes me think a closer could clean up the pieces and that is what I’m going with. 8-Summer in Saratoga (12/1) should be at the back of the pack and flying late with the speed duel. 1-Sweet Melania (5/1) looks to get a perfect trip behind the speed saving ground. 4-Regal Glory (2/1) for Chad Brown, will be on our near the lead looks tough must include. 2-Wakanaka (12/1) Bill Mott invader from overseas could be saving all the ground mid pack and get the jump on these.

10) 1-8-6-7 ***BEST BET*** 1-FEARLESS (5/2) PERFECT TRIP BEHIND THE SPEED AND TAKE OVER MID STRETCH.

RACE 11 PEGASUS WORLD CUP TURF

1-6-8-5

The 10 and 12 will be out front in this spot and could be a fast pace, the 12 is the favorite stretching out and if the pace is hot, the horse will get leg worry late. The key in these distance races is saving ground and the 1-Space Traveller (12/1) will do just that. Save the ground and pass the tiring horses, just needs to find room late to get the picture take. 6- Colonel Liam (3/1) looks to be really tough in here should be right behind the speed and the one to catch in the stretch. 8-Sacred Life (8/1) Chad Brown runner will be coming from the clouds, but like a shot late. 5-Hit The Road (8/1) from Santa Anita and stretching out but will be with the 6 together in this race if the trip works out belongs in this spot.

RACE 12 PEGASUS WORLD CUP

6-4-1-7

Honestly, the 1 and 4 are going to fly early talking 43/44 to the half in a distance like this that is suicide fractions. 1-KNICKS GO (6/5) will be in front with the 4-LIFE IS GOOD (7/5) sitting right off him. The 4 will take the lead at the top of the stretch, but I think there will be an upset in this spot with the pace scenario. Give me 6-SIR WINSTON (12/1) in this spot who will be far back, but let the pace collapse and come pick up the pieces late. 7-TITLE READY (20/1) another one that’s a closer that is worth a look.
